So I just bought myself a Wacom Bamboo tablet and I love it so far...I just need to figure out how to make the best of it! I have yet to install the software package so we'll see how that adds to my "experience". From now on, I will try my hand at digital art (but always as a way to finish traditional art).  I won't put my pencils and paints away, of course. Let's see what happens! :yawn: Now for bed!

I did not intend to ever write a journal entry on devianArt, but I feel as though it's time. From here on out, I will be uploading art from my soul, not necessarily just fan art.  There might be some, but it definitely won't be as much as before.  I am going to explore sumi-e, ink drawings, charcoal, pastel, graphite, watercolor, and eventually oils.  I hope these pieces of art will help improve my technique as well as help me deal with everyday emotions and issues in my life.  I have always believed that art has healing powers and so I will test that theory by immersing myself in it as much as my schedule allows me.
